Infiniti G35 Sports Sedan (2007)

June 20, 2007 - We proclaim our love for Infiniti's G35 a little too much; it's gotten to the point where the women in our lives are a bit jealous of the luxurious Nissan. Oh well... sucks to be them. While we're not the types that are quick to dole out compliments to the ladies (keep 'em wanting more...), we've always been quick to say that the G35 Coupe is one of the most beautiful vehicles ever created. We honestly do believe that and we'll stand by that statement 'till the day we die. Or the day our brains get distracted and move on to something else - like if someone rattles a set of keys in front of our faces or something like that...
But our love for the G35 isn't exactly pure - especially where the coupe is involved. While we absolutely adore the car's silhouette - and its performance - driving the thing is a somewhat miserable experience for us. We just can't fit in the thing. Sitting in the car causes our head to press up against the car's ceiling, which in turn causes a slight yet constant compression of our neck - it's not fun. Combine this neck compression with the car's sport tuned (meaning "rough") ride, and you get a recipe for driving misery. (Leaning back also puts the steering wheel out of reach...) But we just love the car's appearance, and its handling and feedback are just superb - it just has so much going for it. We know that we'd be miserable in a G35 coupe if we ever bought one, but we still want the car. Maybe it's time for someone to rattle some keys in front of our faces so that we can get ourselves out of this quandary.
